In this work, I was inspired by the commonality that black women often face when navigating different spaces. In Tarot, this card signifies being observant while concealing one's true nature; faces danger, but endures. I have armed her with what seems an innocent danger, but the danger lies in trying to attack her from behind, where you think she doesn't see you.
